We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer III to join our dynamic team. This role involves significant responsibility, offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, and provides upward mobility. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Structural Analysis and Design: Utilize applicable codes and standards to conduct structural analysis and design.
  • Develop Technical Documents: Create layouts, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Lead Design Phases: Lead or support schematic and conceptual design phases.
  • Review and Coordinate: Review shop drawings and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Project Leadership: Serve as lead or project engineer on assigned projects.
  • Supervise Team Members: Supervise and guide Designers/Drafters as needed.
  • Conduct Field Visits: Verify site conditions and measurements through field visits.
  • Use Engineering Software: Employ software such as AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, etc., to produce design documents.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, proposals, and business development.
  • Coordinate with Construction Teams: Work closely with construction teams on design-build projects.
  • Prepare Technical Documentation: Organize and prepare technical documentation.
Qualifications
  • Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering (required); M.S. preferred.
  • License: Registered Professional Engineer in Florida (required).
  • Experience: 10+ years in structural engineering; federal project experience preferred.
  • Certifications: LEED AP BD+C is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, Mathcad, Enercalc, Microsoft Office.
