Structural Engineer III

If you have at least 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer and have experience delivering on A/E IDIQs and D/B MATOC/MACCs for federal Defense and Civilian Departments, we would like to talk with you.
Key Responsibilities
Following is a general list of tasks falling into the areas of responsibility of the Structural Engineer III. It attempts to present a comprehensive, but not complete, listing of potential assignments that may be undertaken.- Perform structural analysis and design using applicable codes and standards.
- Develop layouts, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Lead or support schematic and conceptual design phases.
- Review shop drawings and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Serve as lead or project engineer on assigned projects.
- Supervise and guide Designers/Drafters as needed.
- Conduct field visits to verify site conditions and measurements.
- Use engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, etc.) to produce design documents.
- Participate in client meetings, proposals, and business development.
- Coordinate with construction teams on design-build projects.
- Prepare and organize technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering (required); M.S. preferred
- License: Registered Professional Engineer in Florida (required)
- Experience: 10+ years in structural engineering; federal project experience preferred
- Certifications: LEED AP BD+C a plus
- Software: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, Mathcad, Enercalc, Microsoft Office
